Cathy has the Juicy and I have Elixer. ...Yes, Avid. Cathy has the Juicy and I have Elixer. Cathy is running cheap knockoff pads (Jagwire I think) so expectations are low. I'm running Avid brand semi-metallic as there are not many alternatives. I was running ultralight rotors though that I suspect contributed to the rapid wear. The pad material had pathetic life in wet conditions, and when the pads wore down, the spring clips would get sucked into the rotor.
